How Arclyx compares with Lindy, n8n, Zapier and Relevance AI.
Arclyx, Lindy, n8n, Zapier Agents and Relevance AI all build AI agents, but they differ in who builds them, how you test them and where they run. This page compares how you build an agent in each, test it, run it, see what it did and pay for it, with every claim sourced and dated.1,2,3,4
Which AI agent platform fits your team?
It depends on who builds and what has to be proven first. Each tool suits a different kind of team; the pair pages go into the detail.
n8n
Engineers who want to self-host workflows and control every step.2,5
Arclyx vs n8n →Zapier Agents
Teams already on Zapier who need its 9,000+ apps and app-event triggers.3,6
Arclyx vs Zapier Agents →Lindy
One AI assistant across email, meetings and calls, with browser use.1
Arclyx vs Lindy →Relevance AI
Sales and support teams building an AI workforce, with SOC 2 and SSO.4
Arclyx vs Relevance AI →Arclyx
Small businesses that want one agent per job, built from a sentence and tried on their real tools first.
How Arclyx works →
How do you build an agent in each?
Arclyx and Lindy start from a sentence, Zapier Agents from plain-language instructions or a template, n8n from a visual builder it can also draft from a prompt, with code where you need it, and Relevance AI from agents grouped into workforces. The difference is how much you wire yourself.1,7,2,8,4
| Arclyx | Describe the job in one sentence and Arclyx drafts the agent. |
|---|---|
| n8n | A visual builder for agents and workflows, which its AI Workflow Builder can draft from a prompt; move into code when you need it.2,8 |
| Zapier Agents | Plain-language instructions or a template, with help from Zapier Copilot; then add tools and knowledge sources.7,3 |
| Lindy | Describe a routine in a sentence, or show Lindy a task once and it learns how you do it.1 |
| Relevance AI | Agents grouped into AI workforces, which it says even non-technical teams can set up.4 |
Can you test it before it runs?
Four of the five describe a way to check work before it counts; Lindy's pages describe no separate test run. n8n replays runs with mocked data, Zapier Agents has a test step before publishing, Relevance AI offers A/B tests and, on Enterprise, evaluations, and Arclyx's “Try it” is a dry run on your real tools that holds anything outward.1,9,2,7,10,11
| Arclyx | “Try it” is a dry run on your real tools: it reads for real, holds anything outward and lists it as not sent. |
|---|---|
| n8n | Replay a past run or mock the data, and re-run only the step that failed.2 |
| Zapier Agents | Test the agent on its Configure screen before you publish it. On paid plans, tests don't count as activities.7,12 |
| Lindy | No separate test or dry-run step is described on the pages we checked.1,9 |
| Relevance AI | A/B testing on every plan; agent evaluations on Enterprise.10,11 |
How does each one run on its own?
Most run on schedules and events. Zapier Agents adds app events and Zaps, Lindy adds moments like a meeting ending, n8n counts each triggered run as an execution, and Arclyx runs on a schedule, a webhook or a Slack @mention.6,1,13
| Arclyx | A schedule, a webhook or a Slack @mention. “Run it now” starts a real run by hand. |
|---|---|
| n8n | Workflows started by schedules, webhooks and other trigger events; each run is one execution.13 |
| Zapier Agents | On demand, on a schedule, from a Zap or Zapier MCP, or on an app event such as a new Gmail email.6 |
| Lindy | Schedules, moments like a reply being needed or a meeting ending, and @mentions in a channel it's in.1 |
| Relevance AI | Events and signals; its Enterprise plan lists enterprise triggers.4,11 |
How do you see what it did and what it cost?
Arclyx records every run's steps and tokens, with its price on paid plans and a spend ceiling on every run. n8n shows logs and replays runs, Relevance AI lists tracing and cost visibility, Zapier Agents meters activities with a cap per run, and Lindy measures work in credits.2,4,12,9
| Arclyx | Every run's steps and tokens, and its price on paid plans. Each run stops at its spend ceiling, $2 unless you change it. |
|---|---|
| n8n | Logs of each run; audit logs and log streaming to a SIEM for security teams.2 |
| Zapier Agents | Activity monitoring; usage counted in activities, capped per run (10 on Free, 40 on Pro and Enterprise).3,12 |
| Lindy | Work is measured in credits; its pricing page gives credit ranges by kind of task.9 |
| Relevance AI | Real-time monitoring, full agent tracing and cost visibility.4 |
How is each one priced?
Each counts something different: Zapier Agents counts activities, n8n workflow executions, Lindy credits, and Relevance AI sells self-serve Pro and Team plans alongside Enterprise through sales. Arclyx is in private beta. Every cell links the page it came from.14,13,9,10,11
| Arclyx | Private beta, with Free, Team and Enterprise plans. Early access through the waitlist. |
|---|---|
| n8n | Cloud from €20 a month billed annually (Starter, 2,500 executions). The Community edition is free to self-host.13,5 |
| Zapier Agents | Free: 400 activities a month. Pro: 1,500 activities a month, from about $33.33 a month billed yearly. Enterprise: custom, through sales. Activities are separate from Zap tasks.14 |
| Lindy | Free: $50 of credits for 7 days. Team: a monthly price per user, with credits pooled across the team; its pricing page has the current tiers. Enterprise: custom.9 |
| Relevance AI | Its pricing page shows Enterprise, through sales. Its docs list self-serve Pro from $19 a month and Team from $234 a month, billed yearly. No free plan.11,10 |
AI agent platforms, asked and answered.
What are some AI agent platforms?
Arclyx is one; four others are Lindy, n8n, Zapier Agents and Relevance AI. They range from workflow builders you can self-host (n8n) to hosted assistants (Lindy) and agent workforces (Relevance AI).1,2,5,3,4
Which AI agent platform is best?
There isn't one best for everyone. Self-hosting points to n8n, app coverage to Zapier, phone and browser work to Lindy, and sales workforces to Relevance AI. Arclyx fits one agent per job, tried as a dry run first.5,3,1,4
